Discovery and brief
We start with a conversation about your event, your audience, your site and what the show needs to achieve. This gives us the foundation for the design, budget and production plan.

UK Drone Light Shows, Fireworks Events and Live Production
Visionary Illuminations delivers fully managed drone light shows across the UK. We plan and run the full production, combining drone displays with fireworks, lasers, lighting and show control for festivals, brands, venues and public events.
We design and deliver drone light shows for events across the UK. Our work includes aerial drone displays, branded formations, public event drone shows, corporate drone shows and large-scale live productions.
What makes us different is that we do more than provide drones alone. We manage the full show around them, integrating fireworks, lasers, lighting, sound and live production where the event calls for it.
We work UK-wide, including London, Manchester and Birmingham, and support venues, brands, councils, festivals, theme parks, holiday parks and private event organisers.

IMMERSIVE // CREATIVE // LIVE PRODUCTION
If you are looking for immersive audio and visual production for live events, theme parks or resorts, visit our partner brand, Themed Creative.
Our drone show service covers creative planning, technical design and live delivery from one team.
A selection of drone displays, fireworks events, branded aerial content and live productions delivered by Visionary Illuminations.
We work with trusted technical partners to help deliver drone shows, fireworks events and large-scale live productions to a high standard.

Every drone show starts with the event itself. We build the display around the audience, the site and the story you want to tell.
We create branded drone displays, logo animations, public event drone shows and large-scale aerial visuals designed to fit the venue and the brief.
Our team handles the creative, the technical planning and the live delivery, so you are not trying to piece together multiple suppliers.
We can scale the show based on the venue, budget and visual detail required, from smaller launches to larger fleet displays.
We survey each site, review operational requirements and carry out planning around launch areas, safety distances, airspace and audience viewing positions before the event goes live.

We plan the show before we build it. That means creative development, technical design, site planning and paperwork are handled early, so the live event runs clearly and safely.

We prepare concept ideas and technical layouts, including drone positions, fireworks layouts, lighting, sound, laser planning and show control where required.

We shape the production around the site and operational requirements. That includes risk assessments, method statements, event safety planning and the relevant paperwork such as council notices, NOTAMs and CAA permissions where needed.
Once the event is approved and signed off, we deliver the show on site with our crew in place from setup through to completion.

More drones in the sky usually means more detail in the picture. The right fleet size depends on the venue, audience viewing position, airspace restrictions and the level of detail you want to achieve.
We assess each site and help you choose a fleet size that fits the event properly. Not every drone display needs hundreds of drones, and not every venue can support the same launch setup.
We plan around the site, the brief and the final visual result, so the show feels right for the event rather than oversized or underwhelming.
The cost depends on the number of drones, the length of the show, the venue, logistics, permits, custom branding, crew, insurance and any added effects such as fireworks, lasers or lighting. Every show is priced around the event brief.
For most events, it is best to start planning at least two to three months in advance. Larger or more complex productions may need longer.
Drone shows work best in open outdoor spaces with clear visibility, safe launch areas and suitable audience viewing positions. Each location is assessed before the event.
Drone shows can require operational approvals, airspace permissions, NOTAMs and, depending on the venue, local authority coordination. We help manage this process as part of the production.
Shows can range from smaller fleets to several hundred drones, depending on the design, venue and level of detail required.
A typical drone show lasts around 8 to 10 minutes, although longer productions can be designed using different formats or additional show elements.
Yes. We can provide digital previews during the design stage so you can review how the show is expected to look before the event.
Light rain may be possible in some conditions, but high winds and heavy rain can affect operations. Safety always comes first.
Most drone shows are designed for outdoor use. Indoor drone shows are possible in some cases, but they are usually more limited in scale.
Yes. We can create drone and fireworks shows where the site, permissions and event format allow it.
Yes. Drone displays can be synchronised with music, narration or show control to create a more connected live experience.
Drone shows are planned around controlled flight areas, trained operators, site assessments and event safety planning. Safety is built into the process from the start.
